8th International InteriCAD Interior Design Award 2012

International InteriCAD Interior Design Award (IIDA) is a professional interior design award that aims to recognize, celebrate and promote design excellence, encourage innovation and new ideas as well as unearth emerging talent in interior design. The 1st InteriCAD Interior Design Award, which took place in Malaysia in 2002, has a proven track record and has achieved its objectives. To date, International IIDA is one of the most prestigious awards in interior design industry, there are more than 350 interior design firms with more than 2,000 entries participating in the Award.

Believing that a successful professional in the interior design industry needs to be recognized and awarded; IIDA creates a platform which professionals may showcase their design talents and creativity. Through this competition, the standard of regional design will be elevated to the international level. The International IIDA had collaborated with 9 others countries since last year, namely Spain, Poland, Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand, Taiwan, South Africa, and Indonesia. This year, there are 5 more countries joining the award, namely Denmark, Saudi Arabia, Philippines, India, and China. By reaching an international audience, IIDA will uncover more inspired spaces, celebrate and honour the most inspired and innovative work produced by talented designers from all over the world.

IIDA also provides esteemed and elite professional judges a convention to evaluate design projects and bestow top honors to those they believe represents the evolution of the profession. Having no doubt, IIDA is able to form a medium for our designers to showcase their work and along the way, has become an event where young designers receive recognition and encouragement to do better.
